The field of dermatology deals with the largest organ of our body, the skin. The skin is involved in our movement and elasticity, it gives us our individual appearance and is regarded as a defence organ.

It is about the recognition and therapy of skin diseases. These include chronic inflammatory diseases, tumours, environmental and occupational skin diseases, diseases of the veins and allergies.

Acne as a very common skin disease does not only occur in adolescents; it is important to start early with a suitable therapy of the often painful inflammations and thus avoid later scarring; with our examination, above all, the form of acne should be determined

Our skin diagnostics

Skin cancer screening by means of reflected light microscopy (the skin is examined for non-pigmented as well as pigmented skin cancers or their preliminary stages). The aim of this screening is to detect skin cancers as early as possible, especially spinocellular carcinoma, basal cell carcinoma and malignant melanoma and many other diseases. The current state of health and any previous diseases are also examined.
