Headache, unilateral visual disturbances, pain radiating to one leg, speech disturbances, gait unsteadiness are initially unsuspicious symptoms that usually mean nothing, but are often cause for imaging.
If a tumor, a change in the cerebral arteries, a herniated disc or a disturbance of the nerve water circulation is found, it must be decided whether this is suitable for surgical therapy and, if so, what the urgency is.
Recommendations are based on a focused neurological examination, accurate symptom analysis and, as the most important element, imaging analysis, mostly MRI but also computed tomography and regular X-ray when mobility analyses are required.
A consultation is offered for questions regarding surgical therapy of neurological diseases but also their post-therapeutic follow-up and discussion of alternative therapies.
