At our Nienstedten site, we mainly deal with the diagnosis and therapy of inflammatory rheumatic diseases. Since these are often diseases that go "beyond the joint", our top priority is to cooperate with other specialists in your care. If it is not yet clear which rheumatic disease you are suffering from, you will benefit from the interdisciplinary medicine at the MEDIZINICUM at our other locations in Othmarschen and Stephansplatz.
Around 75 experienced and renowned doctors from more than 25 medical disciplines work closely together at the MEDIZINICUM to provide precise diagnostics and the fastest possible, targeted treatment, even for people with complex, very different medical conditions. To do this, the specialists use modern medical equipment that is usually only found in large hospitals.
Further diagnostics and treatment such as additional specialist examinations, endoscopies (gastroscopies and colonoscopies), radiological diagnostics with CT, MRI and digital X-rays, neurological diagnostics, ophthalmological examinations, etc. can be arranged for patients directly and promptly at MEDIZINICUM Stephansplatz or MEDIZINICUM Othmarschen by MEDIZINICUM Nienstedten. This means that it is not necessary to register again, as your findings are available to the treating doctors at all locations. This means that patients can immediately take advantage of the extensive medical care available at our other locations.
