The full-body skeletal MRT shows a high accuracy for skeletal diseases without radiation exposure. It can detect skeletal changes more sensitively than scintigraphy and reliably distinguish them from benign, degenerative changes (signs of wear). In addition, in contrast to scintigraphy, whole-body skeletal MRI provides information on lymph nodes and organ metastases without additional examination in our radiology practice in Hamburg.
