The 13th North German Hormone and Metabolism Conference will take place in Hamburg on October 9 and 10, 2026. This well-established continuing education event brings together experts in endocrinology and metabolic medicine and focuses on current scientific developments as well as practical issues in diagnosis and treatment.
We are particularly pleased that our colleague PD Dr. med. Alexander Iwen, Medical Director of the Center for Endocrine Medicine at MEDIZINICUM Neuer Wall, is one of the scientific directors of the conference.
The program covers a broad spectrum of modern endocrinology and metabolic medicine. Topics include thyroid disorders and thyroid surgery, diabetes mellitus and modern insulin therapies, obesity and lipid metabolism disorders, osteoporosis, PCOS and menopause, as well as adrenal gland disorders and endocrine causes of hypertension. In addition, the program covers new guidelines, individualized treatment approaches, and current developments in transgender medicine.
The conference will take place at the Catholic Academy of Hamburg, Herrengraben 4. Online registration is open until September 28, 2026; after that, registration will only be possible on-site.
