We are very pleased to announce that with the Ahrensburg location, we have now gained the first practice in Schleswig-Holstein for the MEDIZINICUM Group. This means that MEDIZINICUM will now be represented in another federal state in addition to Hamburg.
From January 1, 2024, we welcome the specialist practice "Internal Medicine in the Health Center" in Ahrensburg of Dr. Andreas Greve (specialist in internal medicine, focus on gastroenterology) with the medical colleagues Dr. Marcus Schweitzer (specialist in internal medicine), Dr. med. Gunda Garbe (specialist in general medicine) and Dr. Elias Rawnaq (WB assistant to the FA for general medicine) as well as over 15 non-physician employees in the MEDIZINICUM Group.
The range of services offered by Dr. Greve mainly covers internal diseases with a focus on the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases, liver and pancreatic diseases. Mr. Schweitzer and Dr. Garbe take care of chronically ill patients, preventive medicine and the treatment of acute patients.
With our first location outside Hamburg, we are coming closer to our goal of expanding MEDIZINICUM beyond Hamburg's borders and setting another milestone. The specialized services in Ahrensburg ideally reinforce the gastroenterological focus of MEDIZINICUM geographically. In addition to the on-site services, we can also offer patients the outstanding medical services of the Stephansplatz location with the entire repertoire of comprehensive organ diagnostics. The complementary diagnostics at MEDIZINICUM Stephansplatz ensure the best possible interdisciplinary care for patients from Ahrensburg.
